Manager – AI & Data Solutions

Your role
We are looking for a visionary, collaborative leader to run the AI & Data Solutions team within Group Digitalization. In a defence arena where AI is redefining advantage, this team converts deep AI knowledge into real-world mission value. You will guide a diverse group of experts and partner with business units across Saab to spot, develop and scale future AI use cases. Your leadership will nurture a culture of experimentation, innovation and responsible AI adoption, ensuring our AI & Data capabilities stay accessible, trustworthy and decisive across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing, cross-functional team focused on AI & Data solutions.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases.
• Set up and ensure relevance and quality for several Acceleration Teams that will be deployed to accelerate specific prioritized initiatives.
• Drive the development, experimentation, and deployment of AI solutions that deliver measurable customer value.
• Promote responsible AI practices including fairness, transparency, and explainability.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, data governance, and compliance standards.
• Foster a mindset of enablement, supporting teams across the organisation in their AI & Data journeys.
• Track and communicate the value and impact of AI initiatives across the organization.

Your profile
Required:

• Proven leadership experience in AI, data science, or advanced analytics.
• Strong understanding of AI solution development, experimentation, and deployment.
• Experience working closely with business units to translate needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering).

Preferred:

• Familiarity with highly regulated industries (e.g., defence, energy, medical, finance).
• Experience in scaling AI initiatives in large organizations.
• Familiarity with MLOps, model lifecycle management, and responsible AI frameworks.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in AI contexts.
• Experience with cloud-based AI platforms and tools.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
