About the Product Analytics & Experimentation Team
The Product Analytics and Experimentation team sits within the Data & Analytics directorate in the Technology department. Our mission is to deliver insightful and actionable data through reporting, analysis, and experimentation; with a focus on establishing best-practice processes and enabling data-driven decision making across all supported product teams. The Tesco Groceries & Clubcard app and store self-checkout tills are amongst the digital products supported by our team.

You will be responsible for
As the Digital Analytics Manager for Central Europe, you will lead a digital analytics team supporting the digital product team responsible for our CE products: The Groceries Home Shopping, Clubcard and Marcom websites and apps. This role reports into the Head of Analytics for Online Customer Experience, and it is part of the Product Analytics & Experimentation leadership team. The role will be based in our offices in Prague.
Whilst specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the changing needs of the Tesco business, the following provides an overview of the role’s key responsibilities and measures:
You’ll need to have demonstrated experience of:
• University degree in a quantitative discipline or relevant experience.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills – you must be able to articulate complex concepts to a diverse audience.
• Either managerial positions in analytics or significant coaching experience.
• Able to build solid working relationships with peers and senior leadership.
• Working effectively with multi-disciplinary teams and understanding how to contribute to all phases of the product development lifecycle.
• Commercial awareness.
• Managing change in a dynamic environment.
• Advanced digital analytics.
• Advanced SQL.
• Advanced data architecture.
• Advanced data visualisation.
• Use of Voice of Customer tools to analyse customer feedback.
• Strong collaboration with experimentation teams.
• Customer segmentation and statistical modelling techniques.
• Thinking at a conceptual level across several platforms and channels.
