Your Responsibilities:

AI & Automation Enablement

• Architect Rauva’s data foundation for scale, performance, and intelligent automation.
• Enable teams to develop AI agents and internal copilots with secure access to structured data and event streams.
• Identify and prioritize automation use cases in Ops, Risk, Finance, and Compliance—working closely with each department to deliver impact.

Data Governance & Quality Management

• Define and maintain data governance policies across Rauva’s data ecosystem.
• Establish data quality standards, lineage tracking, and clear ownership across domains.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant frameworks, enabling trustworthy and auditable data pipelines.

Business Intelligence & Strategic Insight

• Champion a culture of decision intelligence by enabling self-serve analytics and unified, business-aligned KPIs.
• Design data products that provide deep visibility into operations, customer behavior, and financial performance.
• Support regulatory reporting with verified and traceable data flows, ensuring alignment with Risk and Compliance teams.

Data Infrastructure & Architecture

• Own and evolve Rauva’s modern data stack—across ingestion, transformation, warehousing, and analytics.
• Guide build vs buy decisions for tooling including orchestration, observability, and access control.
• Ensure the platform is resilient, cost-effective, and AI-ready for LLM integrations and real-time systems.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Build and mentor a cross-functional team of analytics engineers, data scientists, and ML engineers
• Align tightly with Engineering, Product, and Risk to ensure metrics, tools, and priorities are coherent and aligned
• Foster a strong culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning across the company

Key Focus Areas

• AI & Automation Enablement Drive internal AI adoption through data-readiness, smart automation, and real-time insights.
• Governance & Compliance Define governance practices and ensure clean, compliant, and traceable data flows across teams.
• Unified Data Products Develop shared metrics, dashboards, and analytics interfaces that power confident decision-making.
• Cross-functional Influence Partner with Risk, Finance, and Ops to align on regulatory reporting and strategic forecasting.
• Scalable Infrastructure Build a platform for fast, secure, and transparent experimentation with AI and analytics.

What’s Your Ideal Background?

• 10+ years of experience in data roles with at least 3–5 years in a leadership position.
• Strong background in Data Analytics or Data Science and strategic data product thinking—able to lead teams from raw data to impact.
• Deep understanding of Data Governance, Data Modeling, and Business Metrics.
• Working knowledge of AI & ML infrastructure, including model deployment and data-readiness for LLMs and agents.
• Experience supporting regulatory reporting (e.g., financial audits, compliance flows).
• Prior experience in fintech, banking, or regulated environments is a strong plus.
• Excellent communicator in English; Portuguese and/or French is a bonus.
