Director, Head of Data, BI & Applications

We are now looking for a Director, Head of Data, BI & Applications to lead our BI & Data organization and drive the internal use of data across the organization — ensuring that our systems, governance, and insights support smarter decisions, greater efficiency, and long-term success, and serve our global enterprise customers, which include some of the world’s largest and most well-known brands.

The role
The Head of Data, BI & Applications will serve as the architect and operational owner of Stibo Systems enterprise data foundation—enabling the company’s transition to a scalable, data-driven SaaS organization. This role brings together three essential domains: Data Strategy & Governance, BI & Architecture, and Application Management & Enablement.

The leader in this position will be responsible for translating Stibo Systems data strategy into execution—through a scalable governance model, modern BI infrastructure, and a robust, business-aligned application landscape. At the same time, the role must ensure that data becomes a practical and trusted lever in everyday decision-making across the organization.

Furthermore, you will:

• Drive execution of the data strategy by turning plans into action, delivering prioritized use cases, and fostering a strong data culture.

• Lead and grow a cross-functional team across Data Governance, BI & Architecture, and Application Enablement (ERP/CRM).

• Establish a scalable, modern data foundation with AI-ready platforms, solid architecture, and high data quality.

• Ensure effective governance through clear ownership, cross-functional forums, and performance tracking.

• Collaborate closely with IT and Shared Services to align system performance and data integrity with business needs.

• Build an efficient delivery model by balancing internal resources with external partners—ensuring knowledge transfer, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.

About the team
Acting on behalf of the CFO in data related matters and in close collaboration with senior leadership, this role will establish a high-performing, business-oriented delivery organization. The mission is clear: deliver insights that matter, systems that work, and governance that scales—with change leadership and cross-functional trust as cornerstones.
You will lead the Data & Digitalization organization consisting of 10 members, a skilled and motivated group of professionals responsible for driving internal data initiatives across the organization.

Your background
You are a strategic thinker with a passion for data, digital innovation, and driving business transformation. You thrive at the intersection of technology and business, with excellent communication skills and experience managing stakeholders across global teams.

Furthermore, you have:

• 8+ years of experience in a data, IT, or digital transformation role

• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role

• Proven track record in defining and executing enterprise-level data strategies

• Deep understanding of enterprise architecture and its role in enabling growth

• Experience leading digital transformation initiatives, including AI and automation

• Strong proficiency with business intelligence tools and data visualization platforms

• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and data privacy regulations

• Experience in a global, matrixed organization is an advantage
