Open Innovation Analyst

Join our innovation consultancy firm dedicated to accelerating the innovation roadmap of large companies by adopting startup/lean methodologies. The team is composed of a mix of ex-McKinsey, ex-startup founders (currently with 2M active users), and ex-Open Innovation Managers. Our goal is to 10x the innovation roadmap by either finding an existing startup/tech and connecting to the corporate (Open Innovation Program) or by building a startup (Corporate Venture Building Program). We sometimes use these methodologies to build our own ventures. In Portugal, we work with the most innovative companies (like NOS, EDP, etc). Profile

We are looking for an Open Innovation Analyst to help design and execute innovation programs that connect large corporations with the best startups in the world. You’ll play a key role in identifying startup solutions, facilitating interactions between corporates and startups, and ensuring program success. This role suits someone passionate about the startup ecosystem, innovation strategy, and tech trends.

Responsibilities

• Help execute Open Innovation programs from scouting to pilot implementation
• Identify and assess startups that match corporate needs
• Organize and facilitate meetings between corporates and startups
• Support in the evaluation and selection of startup partners
• Conduct research on emerging technologies and startup trends
• Contribute to building databases and market intelligence
• Support with internal program management tools and materials
• Support the business development process
• Support in building internal tools for the programs
• Support the Market Intelligence research

Skills

• Basic knowledge of the startup and innovation ecosystem
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Ability to engage with different stakeholders (startups, corporates, tech experts)
• Fluent in English and Portuguese
• Prior experience in innovation programs or startup scouting is a plus
