Job Description

The Senior Data Analyst – Online Shipping will be responsible for delivering actionable insights to enhance user experience and drive upselling on FedEx.com. This role involves deep data analysis, dashboard creation, A/B testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize digital strategies and boost revenue. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, expertise in SQL, Python or R, and experience with tools like Power BI, Adobe Analytics, and Google Analytics

What You Will Be Doing
As a Senior Data Analyst – Online Shipping, you will play a key role in optimizing FedEx.com and driving upselling initiatives. Working closely with business stakeholders, analytics engineers, and data scientists, you will turn complex data into actionable insights that enhance customer engagement and revenue growth. This role requires strategic thinking, advanced analytics, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Analyzing user behavior on Shipping application, FDX and FedEx.com to identify opportunities for upselling and customer retention.
  • Developing and maintaining dashboards to monitor customer engagement, conversion rates, and revenue performance.
  • Collaborating with marketing and product teams to evaluate and improve upselling strategies.
  • Conducting deep-dive analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
  • Partnering with data engineers to ensure seamless data integration from various sources.
  • Presenting clear and compelling insights to stakeholders to inform strategic decisions.
  • Applying A/B testing methodologies to validate website changes and upselling tactics.

What Do You Bring With You

  • Master’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor's degree if more work experience)
  • 6+ years of experience in data analysis within e-commerce or digital platforms.
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools, preferably Power BI (Tableau also acceptable).
  • Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics.
  • In-depth knowledge of A/B testing principles and statistical analysis.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills to translate data into business insights.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics.
  • Advanced experience in experimentation design and hypothesis testing.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub and DBT is a plus.
